Unit 8 Visualization and Meditation

The two practices that I have found to be most beneficial  are Visualization and Meditation, because they are both vital for good mental health. If one can learn to focus meditation is good for relieving stress due to the everyday circumstances of life. Visualization is a component of meditation because if one can just visualize something positive then it makes meditation more easier and promotes good mental health. I can use meditation and visualization in my personal life to help me cope with life's obstacles to keep my mind in a positive state for better mental health.

  1. I prefer to use visualization outside of the constraints of just meditation. I use visualization when I'm in the gym, staring at the mirror, or generally focusing throughout the day. This is in part because of my vivid imagination. My wife tells me that she can tell when I'm thinking something because I'll give facial expressions, body language, and I've even been known to mumble. It proves just how powerful a weapon visualization really can be.
