I am a work in progress whether it's physical, spiritual, or psychological well-being. When it comes to my Physical well-being I rate myself a 5, because I have poor eating habits and do minimum exercise. My goal to help me improve is by eating healthier and exercising. My spiritual well-being will probably be a 5, because I lack faith or doubt. My goal for improvement is to meditate on a higher being. My Psychological well-being is about a 5, because I have a negative mind-set. My goal for improvement is to change the way I think.
In order to move towards my goals of Physical, Spiritual, and Psychological well-being I have to get motivated. By setting goals that are reasonable for my overall well-being. For instance, eliminating junk food and choosing days to exercise. Having a better relationship with God and meditating to relax my mind. As far as the relaxation exercise goes it didn't help me to relax. I can only relax in a quiet environment with no noise.
I know what it's like to have a negative mind set. Been there done that. At one point in my life I didn't like myself much. I was not pretty enough or smart enough. What I did to change was self-talk. Every time I got in a mirror I would say positive things about myself and every time I thought something negative I replaced it with something positive. It took some time but I changed and you can too.
ReplyDeleteHello NaKeia, Hmm negative thinking. That can get be so bad for your world. I suffered from that a few years ago. I talked to myself negatively and I didn't know that because I was negative towards myself my actions were negative as well. My self-esteem was low and everything was dark. I learned to slowly begin to love my self and talk to myself in a positive manner. Others will see that light in you and your actions will change but, I still a long way to go.
